Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 11, 2026Last updated: August 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information MANA Labs collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to manalabs.academy and to our workshops, programs, community, and related services (the “Services”). The Services are operated by Dylan Moore, doing business as MANA Labs (“MANA Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • Account and enrollment details — your name, email address, and the program you sign up for.
  • Payment information — when you buy a program, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details and billing information. We receive a record of the transaction and the last four digits of your card, but we never see or store your full card number.
  • Scheduling details — if you book a call with us, our scheduling tool (Calendly) collects the information you enter to book it.
  • Things you send us — messages through our contact form, emails, survey and feedback responses, and anything you share in live sessions or community spaces.

Information we collect automatically:

  • Usage and device data — when you visit the site, we and our hosting and analytics providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring links, and general location (city/region level).
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as government IDs, health data, or precise geolocation), and we ask that you not send them to us.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide the Services — enroll you, give you access to programs, recordings, and community, and run live sessions;
  • process payments and send receipts, through Stripe;
  • communicate with you — confirmations, program logistics, support replies, and, if you’ve opted in, newsletters and updates about our programs;
  • schedule and manage calls and sessions;
  • understand and improve the Services, including which content and pages are useful; and
  • keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.

We send marketing emails only to people who have opted in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We may still send you essential transactional messages (like a purchase receipt or a schedule change) even if you’ve unsubscribed from marketing.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only in these ways:

  • Service providers who run parts of the Services for us, under contracts that limit them to that purpose. These currently include:
    • Stripe — payment processing
    • Kit — email newsletters and program communications
    • Calendly — call scheduling
    • Resend — transactional and contact-form email
    • Zoom — running live sessions
    • Vercel — website hosting, delivery, and usage analytics
    • Mixpanel — website and product analytics
  • Legal and safety — if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of MANA Labs, our members, or the public.
  • Business transfer — if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal; we’ll require the recipient to honor this Policy.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that can’t reasonably be used to identify you.

4. AI tools and third-party services

Our training teaches you to use third-party AI and creative tools that are run by other companies. When you use those tools, you interact with them directly under their own terms and privacy policies, and anything you enter into them is handled by them, not us. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for how those tools collect or use data. Review their privacy policies before entering personal or confidential information.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. These generally fall into:

  • Essential — needed for the site and checkout to function.
  • Analytics — help us see how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • Functionality — remember choices you’ve made.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works.

Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for how sites should respond, so we do not currently change our behavior based on it. You can still decline analytics cookies using the banner, or block them in your browser settings.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and after that only as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Because your program access and recordings may be lifetime, we generally keep your enrollment record for as long as you have access. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your information — see Section 8.

7. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including limiting who can access it and relying on reputable providers (like Stripe for payments) that maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly if something goes wrong.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws — you may have the right to:

  • know and access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your personal information;
  • opt out of marketing communications; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of there. To exercise any right, email us at hello@manalabs.academy. We’ll verify your request (usually by confirming your email) and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

9. International visitors

We operate in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed here, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Children’s privacy

The Services are for adults. We do not direct the Services to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or on the site. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
